LoRa

LoRa is a proprietary spread spectrum modulation technique derived from chirp spread spectrum (CSS). Operating in unlicensed ISM frequency bands (such as 433 MHz, 868 MHz in Europe, and 915 MHz in North America).

LoRa enables devices to transmit small amounts of data over long distances, up to 10–15 km in rural areas and 2–5 km in urban environments.

Its robustness against interference, combined with its ability to penetrate obstacles like walls and foliage, makes LoRa particularly suited for industrial and outdoor deployments.
