Apollo4 SoC Wins 2021 BIG Innovation Award - Ambiq

January 26, 2021

Ambiq announced it has been named a winner in the 2021 BIG Innovation Awards presented by the Business Intelligence Group.

The Apollo4 SoC family is the 4th generation system processor solution built on Ambiq’s SPOT platform. With Apollo4 SoC, all battery-powered endpoint devices will now have the possibility to be always-on and to last for days, weeks, months, or years on one charge or standard lithium batteries.

“More than ever, the global society relies on innovation to help progress humanity and make our lives more productive, healthy and comfortable,” said Maria Jimenez, chief operating officer of the Business Intelligence Group. “We are thrilled to be honoring Ambiq as they are one of the organizations leading this change and helping humanity progress.”

“Endpoint IoT devices featuring always-on voice-processing require a next-generation system processor solution that balances both performance and energy efficiency,” said Scott Hanson, Founder and CTO of Ambiq. “We are honored that our Apollo4 System-on-Chip Family is recognized for delivering new levels of energy efficiency and blazing throughput with MRAM technology for AI at the endpoints.”

Organizations from across the globe submitted their recent innovations for consideration in the BIG Innovation Awards. Nominations were then judged by a select group of business leaders and executives who volunteer their time and expertise to score submissions.
