The Cirrus Logic CS530x series is a family of high-performance audio ADCs for professional and high-quality audio applications. The series includes the CS5302P 2-channel ADC, CS5304P/S 4-channel ADCs and CS5308P/S 8-channel ADCs.
The devices are based on a 32-bit architecture and support differential analog inputs with 32-bit digital output via the audio serial port. The CS530x series supports sample rates up to 768 kHz, making it suitable for demanding audio systems where high-resolution conversion is required.
The CS5302P offers a dynamic range of 126 dB A-weighted and -110 dB THD+N. The CS5304P and CS5308P provide a dynamic range of more than 123 dB and THD+N below -110 dB, within a power budget of approximately 25 mW per channel.
The devices support commonly used audio interface formats, including I2S, left-justified and TDM, and can be controlled via hardware pins, I2C or SPI. This makes the series flexible to integrate into a wide range of digital audio designs.
For systems that require multiple synchronized audio channels, the CS530x family also supports time-aligned operation across multiple devices.
