With the IP-Watcher, up to 100 network nodes or IP addresses can be monitored.
If a device fails or the IP address can no longer be reached, the IP watcher sounds an alarm. The IP-Watcher alerts by e-mail or switches alarm devices such as lamps, horns or other fault reporting devices.
Cyclic monitoring of network components
In times of Industry 4.0 and IoT, more and more devices communicate via the network or even via internet connections. If the work PC has no network connection, the user notices this immediately. However, if components such as cameras, light barriers or other sensors fail, this is often recognized much too late. The W&T IP-Watcher monitors up to 100 network participants cyclically via ICMP (ping) and raises an alarm if they cannot be reached. In addition to a message by e-mail, this can also be done via a switching contact. In the event of a network failure, fault reporting devices, warning lamps or horns can also be activated.

Immediate overview with simple commissioning
In the browser, the user gets an overview of the status of the monitored network nodes at a glance. The configuration is also done via the browser interface and can be easily managed without special IT expertise: Simply enter the IP addresses to be monitored in the inventory list, configure who will be informed in the event of an alarm and whether an additional contact should be made - done!
Safe operation in office and industrial environments
The IP-Watcher is just about the size of a packet of cigarettes and, with its 24V supply and mounting options for the DIN rail, is optimally prepared for use in the control cabinet or network cabinet. Alternatively, the IP-Watcher can also be supplied via PoE (Power over Ethernet).
In contrast to server-based monitoring solutions, the IP-Watcher works independently. So there is no interference from other applications or system updates that affect the function.
Thanks to low interference emissions, high interference immunity and low energy consumption, the IP watcher is suitable for all office and industrial environments.
