What we focus on

TOP goes GREEN operates within our People & Culture pillar, driving initiatives across five key areas:

CO₂ reduction	We actively monitor and reduce emissions across our operations, including business travel and logistics.
Energy efficiency	We optimize energy consumption in our offices and processes through smarter systems and conscious usage.
Waste management	We minimize waste streams and promote recycling and responsible material handling.
Sustainable logistics	We work with partners to reduce environmental impact across our supply chain.
People & Community	Sustainability goes beyond the environment: A healthy and inclusive work culture A safe workplace for all employees Active engagement with our local communities

We measure CO₂ emissions

Transparency is essential to progress. We are recording our air travel and associated CO₂ emissions as a first step toward structured environmental reporting.

Why this matters

• Regulatory developments
  Under EU legislation, large companies (>500 employees) are already required to report CO₂ emissions.
  
  From 2027 onwards, this requirement will extend to companies with:
  • More than 250 employees
  • Annual turnover above €40 million
     
• Our commitment to sustainability
  Although TOP-electronics is not legally required to report emissions, it is of great importance to operate as sustainably as possible within our industry.

By acting now, we ensure that TOP-electronics remains a reliable, transparent, and future-ready partner.

Our responsibility

Sustainability is not limited to emissions, compliance, energy, logistics, or reporting. It is about taking responsibility, increasing transparency, and making informed decisions that reduce our environmental impact over time. It also includes how we support our employees and the role we play in society.
