Rule.box hub - monitor and control using Node-RED - 55920 - W&T

February 18, 2020

The rule.box is the central box for Web-IOs made by W&T. Using the Node-RED interface you can make virtual connections between the in- and outputs of the Web Thermometer, analog Web-IOs and digital Web-IOs from Wiesemann & Theis. For example you can switch the ventilation in the open-plan office as the CO2 levels in the breathing air or switch the air conditioning depending on room temperature. You can visualize the detected measurement values in the Dashboard and store them in the device-internal database. Connectors for the Web-IOs, Web Thermometer and Com-Server are already pre-installed.

Implement automation tasks with the pre-installed, graphical development tool Node-RED. Determine the data flow between input and processing nodes by dragging connections in the browser-based editor. Using pre-installed nodes you can read and control Web-IOs, Web Thermometers and Com-Servers. The comprehensive range of nodes that can be added later enables both expansion of the processing functions and connection of devices from other manufacturers. The rule.box runs the created flows reliably and while saving energy. It is also possible to integrate non-public nodes on request.
