Apollo330 Plus Series Cortex-M55 SoCs deliver up to 250MHz with Helium technology and a dedicated 48MHz network coprocessor for secure, connected edge AI
The Apollo330 Plus System-on-Chip (SoC) series is a groundbreaking solution from Ambiq, engineered to redefine the boundaries of ultra-low-power performance for conventional edge and AI applications. Built on Ambiq’s proprietary Subthreshold Power Optimized Technology (SPOT®) platform, the Apollo330 Plus series achieves unprecedented energy efficiency, enabling edge devices to maximize battery life without sacrificing performance.
Powered by an Arm® Cortex®-M55 application processor running up to 250 MHz with turboSPOT® and Helium™ technology, the Apollo330 Plus series delivers over 16x faster performance and up to 30x better AI energy efficiency compared to similar solutions based on previous generation Cortex-M processors. A dedicated Arm Cortex-M4F network coprocessor (in wireless variants) enables robust radio performance, empowering developers to create highly responsive, power-efficient designs for the edge.
The Apollo330 Plus series consists of three variants to cover a broad range of use cases.
The base Apollo330 Plus targets wearables, medical/healthcare, and smart home applications. The Apollo330B Plus extends the base model with Bluetooth® Low Energy 5.4 support for connected peripherals. The Apollo330M Plus adds multi-protocol radio support for Thread and Matter, enabling low-power mesh networking for smart home, smart meter, and industrial edge deployments, as well as Bluetooth Classic and LE Audio for audio applications.
Backed by secureSPOT® 3.0 based on Arm® TrustZone® technology, the Apollo330 Plus Series integrates robust hardware-based security mechanisms including secure boot and secure firmware updates. These features ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data across connected systems, making the Apollo330 Plus series an ideal platform for secure, intelligent edge AI deployments.
