RF Technology Day 2020 - Delft - Netherlands (postponed)

Postponed
Due to the Corona virus, the RF event has been postponed.

New date will be December 1st 2020

The RF Technology event will take place in 2020 at QuTech on the TU Delft campus. The host of this event will present an overview of RF equipment and techniques that are used in the research for quantum computers. At the end of the day visitors will experience the qualities of the scientific projects in specific tours.

The goal of this event is to show the diversity of applications, innovations and knowledge in radio frequency technology, there will be special attention to the more complex RF projects and tests, with Mixed Signal Variants.

The participants will be showing available RF technologies, strong applications based on RF and the upcoming new RF technologies. Knowledge and practical developments will play a major role in both the plenary and parallel sessions of the event.

The entire width of the market: appliers, developers, suppliers and institutes, are brought together at the RF Technology event. Vision, experience and capabilities are shared in the RF community.

In cooperation with MegiQ, TOP-electronics will give a presentation.

Developing wireless products can have antenna pitfalls if you don’t know what to look for.
Antennas are not just components, they need to be implemented with attention to their application and environment. Not only should the antenna impedance be matched. The radiation pattern should also meet certain criteria. This presentation focus on early prototype development for IoT and 4G frequencies and how to monitor the RF characteristics during the development cycle.
