See your antenna in 3D
The RMS-3DTT adds a second rotation axis to your RMS. This allows you to measure radiation patterns in full 3D.
The fully non-metal rotation table is optimized for RF transparency for minimal effects on the radiation properties of the device under test. Together with additonal measurement redundancy to mitigate reflections the RMS-3D provides accurate 3D measurements.
The turntable comes with several accessories for mounting a variety of devices, such as handhelds and wearables, metering and domestic devices, horn antennas and patch arrays. The accessories also provide a cable guide for orderly routing of coax and power cables. This gives an optimal repeatability of the measurements.
The roller drum provides a measuring space between 210 x 256 mm and 160 x 304 mm, depending on the DUT placement. The length of the drum is 320 mm but objects can protrude up to a practical size of 1000 mm. The maximum DUT weight is 7.5 kg.
The RMS-3DTT turntable is an add-on to the standard RMS systems. It can be purchased separately to add to an RMS. When purchased as an option with a an RMS it replaces the standard turntable.
Linear and Circular polarization
Both Linear and Circular polarizations are supported.
Multifrequency measurements
The RMS can measure antenna patterns at multiple frequencies in one rotation run.
